Since students need to be able to work quickly and efficiently after using a computer, the ability to quickly navigate to the information they need is a big plus. The good thing about Raptor is that it offers features such as search and navigation, backup and restore, a powerful scanner, a centralized download center, and online help. Raptor helps students visualize the information they are looking for by providing the infrastructure on which they can browse through hundreds of thousands of files, using a built-in interface. The one downside to Raptor is that it cannot read some of the more advanced CDN drivers such as those from HijackThis, so you might not be able to get the most out of this software. Raptor does not slow down your computer, but rather it just works better on Windows Vista and Windows XP, so Windows 7 users will not be able to launch the program. Raptor is a simple to use, fast, and versatile download manager which gives a limited amount of customization options and an easy way to manage your downloads.
